About

Bewilderbliss is a bi-annual literary magazine showcasing the best new prose and poetry from the rainy city and beyond. Produced by students of the University of Manchester’s Creative Writing master’s programme, the magazine features fiction, verse and essays by new writers. The theme for each issue is set by an established author and previous examples have included “The Guilty”, set by Booker nominated novelist MJ Hyland, and “Revolutions”, set by Arthur C. Clarke award winning Sci-Fi writer Geoff Ryman. Bewilderbliss is available at Cornerhouse, Blackwells and by clicking on the ‘buy’ button

Submissions for issue 4 are now closed. We are currently slaving away to get the new issue completed and will let you know the launch date soon.

Bewilderbliss also supports new writers by getting interviews with established authors and posting their information and advice.
